Unfortunatelly, due to the global pandemin of Covid 19, it was impossible to organize a meeting. Nevertheless, we are hoping to invite the most soccessful participants in the following year, if possible!

The meeting was held at IST Austria. This time the winners also got STEB T-shirts!
This year's STEB was held simultaneously in Austria and the camp was attended by Slovak students as well as Austrian competitors.
In addition to interesting lectures, the IST scientists prepared for us a tour of several laboratories and we were able to have an informal chat with them over dinner in the courtyard of the institute. In addition, during the meeting itself, we also had a competition when we tried to plan a scientific study and convince the grant committee to support it.

The most successful researchers of the seminar participated in a training camp at IST Austria. We walked through all the buildings of the large and growing institute, visited some very interesting laboratories and attended lectures prepared for us by IST scientists. We also played an evolution game, tried to analyse the song and genetics of hummingbirds and spent a nice informal dinner with the young scientists.
